Running a Community Event

How to run a community event on a shoestring budget.

Cost: $10 per session or $50 for all 6 sessions

Day One - Out line of the “To do list”, contacts and legalities

  • VENUE: Bay Connect - 1-15 Torquay Rd, Pialba ( Corner of Hunter Street ) – Park in Coles or Woolies
  • Monday February 27th 10am – 12 noon

Day Two - Sound and Lighting Workshop

  • VENUE: Sunday in Park and Easter festival

Day Three - Activities to run, health and safety, blue cards, photo consent

  • VENUE: The Shed – Arts & Craft Village, Bideford Street, Torquay
  • Sat 17th March 10am – 12 noon

Day Four - Site plans and stall holders & Marketing

  • VENUE: Bay Connect - see venue details above
  • Mon 5th March 10am – 12 noon

Day Five - MC Workshop

  • VENUE: The Shed – Arts & Craft Village, Bideford Street, Torquay
  • Sat 10th March 10am – 12 noon

Day Six - Pulling it together

  • VENUE: Bay Connect Times and dates to be advised.
