Presented Two Great Jazz and Blues concerts with world class Musicians "The John Leigh Calder Jazz/Blues Trio" The John Leigh Calder Jazz/Blues Trio Performed at The Mantra Hervey Bay Marina on Saturday 1st August 2009. The Concert Times were held at 1pm and 7.30 pm and the cost was $20 for members and prebooked tickets or $25 at the door. Ingrid James Ingrid James along with John Reeves on piano, Ralph De Silva and Steve Wright on drums. Guest artist was John Hoffman on fluge and trumpet. The concert times were held at 1pm and 7.30 pm. The two concerts were enjoyed by all with the variety and styles from these musicians, which was appreciated by all who attended. The range of voices and styles of music between the performing artists was amazing and if offered again it is something not to be missed. A small workshop was held between the two concerts and the Artists freely shared their skills and knowledge and stories with those who attended. All artists made themselves available after the concerts to chat, sell merchandise, sign autographs, pose for photographs with the audience which is somthing thats not always available at the big city concerts.
